The way I teach Jewellery making is jumping straight in the deep end. There are many lovely beading techniques but I go beyond beading using wire to make professional shop finished Jewellery that has value and quality . When teaching jewellery making I go straight to Jewellery wire and Gemstones or Pearls. It is the higher end jewellery I prefer to work with since you will put hours into the work so it should be worth looking after and enjoying for many years to come.
Venue: The Creative Space, Killiney, Co DUblin
Cost: 65 Euro per Workshop
Time: 10am – 4pm

During the workshop you will learn to use the tools, work with different stones of your choice, make tigertail, silver and suede chains to suit every occasion and price range.
We start with a simple tigertail necklace, then a bracelet to match or a triple tigertail necklace depending on your choice and taste.
The next thing we make is a pendant using a large gemstone and wire. At this stage you are familiar with the tools and have chosen stones you are happy to wear.
After this you then make a gemstone bracelet, a drop gemstone necklace, necklace with combined designs and then earrings. Depending on your speed in between projects you can make matching earrings for each necklace.
